What engineering work it implies

Sample acceptance criteria Landfall generates for this obligation:

  • Providers of intermediary services without an EU establishment that offer services in the Union MUST designate in writing a legal or natural person in a Member State where they offer services as legal representative, with the mandate, powers and resources required by Article 13(2); MUST notify the representative's name, postal address, email address and telephone number to the Digital Services Coordinator of the Member State where the representative resides or is established; and MUST keep that information publicly available, easily accessible, accurate and up to date (Art 13(4)). The representative can be held liable for non-compliance (13(3)).
  • Document the written designation, authority, resources and notification of contact details to the competent Digital Services Coordinator. Article 12 concerns recipient contact points, a separate duty. The legacy ID is retained, not the old citation. Article 13(4): file the representative's name, postal address, email and telephone number with the Digital Services Coordinator of the representative's Member State and publish them; keep both current. Article 13(3): the representative can be held liable, so the mandate and resourcing should be documented.
  • Record the assessed scope, evidence and unresolved questions; completing this task is not a legal compliance determination.
